It seems like most posts I write start off with "it has been a while" or "hello again" or some other derivative pleasantry meant to excuse my laziness and complete ineptitude at maintaining this blog. What can I say? The virus has kept me busy.
Two weeks into the Movement Control Order issued by the government, and I have run out of ways to distract myself. I guess I have to resort to studies finally. (that's a little joke, with the slightest hint of urgency to it). I've been listening to K-Pop at an alarming rate, it scares me. The Prince fills my head with information I have less use for. The same goes for some of the survival skills I'm trying out. I began playing a surprisingly fun MMORPG called Eve Online. It has everything you could ask for, space exploration, space battles, light-speed warping, all neatly packed in a package that is completely free of cost. It also happens to be the one game other than Minecraft that I can play smoothly without having to stick my laptop in the fridge.
The one thing I thought I would get time to do was cook, however there stood in my past a giant obstacle called Dirty Small Kitchen with its side-kick, one million ants. Now a dirty kitchen isn't an excuse. It gets cleaned regularly. What happens is the unmistakable magic that takes place once I wave my cloth over a dirty surface. Instead of getting cleaning, it gets caked with more dirt. Yeah, I know, it's all excuses. I do clean though. Thoroughly. Seeing the kitchen in a mess daily demotivates me to try an new recipes. The only things I got going for me are the variations in noodle soups I am able to conjure. That's the only thing that bring me most joy that day.
I also play PUBG now. On my phone. I will not defend myself. I get to talk and shoot strangers with my friends, and that's all that matters.
Omg hi5, for some reason during theban I have developed a soft corner for Kpop and Kdrama. I am glued in front of the screen for hours just netflixing, listening to songs or sleeping. I could use this time studying or doing something productive but I just can't push my self into studying ( maybe waiting for things to worsern so that my uni cancels all exams or for the no-detriment policy to be initiated ) . Anyways your chilling over there so have a blast even though you have to do household chores it's better than having parents hovering around you 24/7 atleast for me ( maybe should have stayed back instead of coming home ).
