Blog #34

Okay so I joined a gym a few days back. I only have a couple of days here more and nothing to do. Seriously, I made some new friends from my coaching classes and none of them can come with a plan. And they have lived here supposedly for more than 5 years. Every time there is an inkling of a plan in formation, everyone just wusses out. I try to help, but not too much because then I don't want to seem petty, like this one guy on the chat group, he's just so........ naggy (is that a word? No? You get what I mean.) Anyways, I joined the gym. Now I didn't have to pay a fee of service or anything, not because I was using it for less than a week, but because I had ''CONTACTS''. Well my grand-dad's a trustee at the club and he's got connections. Its the same thing. It was unreal how he coolly stepped into the fricking CEO's office and just got permission. That's power.

At this gym, every member has a personal trainer. So when I got into the place one man asked for my BMI. No way I was going to be embarrassed by some stranger smirking at me. Okay I did lose quite a lot of fat during these past 4 months and I don't look that bad (the face is a different story altogether). Another thing was that they didn't allow for any outside footwear to be brought inside. And I came wearing my gym shoes, which were also my running shoes. They were unbearably dirty and I thought they wouldn't care. Yeah, no. It was bad. I was watched every step of the way. I know a few free weights exercises that I do frequently so I got to doing those. Usually I listen to a few specific tracks on full volume, so I didn't notice the trainer standing besides me moving his mouth. I thought, okay, time for a few tips. He straight up criticized me. And yes, it's his job to ensure that I don't do anything wrong, but come on man, give me some space.

Not everyone in India owns a wired Internet connection so different mobile network companies came up with the idea of portable devices called 'hotspots' which work like portable routers. I can never seem to get a good connection from the network. Sure, my usage is tremendous but when I really require the internet, it doesn't come to my aid. Like so, I can't seem to publish this blog at all since my laptop won't connect to the internet. These latest blogs I had to publish with my phone. It's being very adamant. Maybe it has gained consciousness.
