You ever wonder what your old self would be like? The future you. I guess we have anticipated this question throughout various times in our life. I thought of this question for the first time today. Like, really 'pondered' on it for a long time. I had to go for a get-together at a distant relative of ours. It was a death anniversary for an elderly in their family, and so he was mourned in the proper manner as is in our culture. We had a ritual, and simple food deemed as offerings to the gods. When I entered their house the first time, I heard a soft wail. I am in good terms with that group of relatives, and know their children well enough. There are two brothers who are very close to each other.  The young one is probably a year younger to me, so it figures that they might be playing and having fun. So, to give myself something to do, I walked into that room expecting to see two guys brawling it out. What I actually saw scared me a bit. The elder brother was helping up his gran...

Okay so I joined a gym a few days back. I only have a couple of days here more and nothing to do. Seriously, I made some new friends from my coaching classes and none of them can come with a plan. And they have lived here supposedly for more than 5 years. Every time there is an inkling of a plan in formation, everyone just wusses out. I try to help, but not too much because then I don't want to seem petty, like this one guy on the chat group, he's just so........ naggy (is that a word? No? You get what I mean.) Anyways, I joined the gym. Now I didn't have to pay a fee of service or anything, not because I was using it for less than a week, but because I had ''CONTACTS''. Well my grand-dad's a trustee at the club and he's got connections. Its the same thing. It was unreal how he coolly stepped into the fricking CEO's office and just got permission. That's power. At this gym, every member has a personal trainer. So when I got into the place...

I wanted to wait till today for this next blog, since I had the exam finally today and also as I had no choice. My laptop's been acting funny. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I never shut it down..... Yeah, I don't think so. As I said, the wretched exam ended. It took 36 days for me to prepare for those three hours of misery. I can't decide if it was worth it. I guess it was. It was quite the experience. Not the entire month, just today's. These national examinations are very strict as far as I know. Or at least the one I wrote. Where should I start. My examination center was an institute 25 kms away to a military place (no specifics). Every candidate had to wear trousers and light-weight shirts. On the way, I saw multiple locations where there were streams of students pouring into each buildings. The same thing happened at my location. The crowd wasn't the problem though. It was the regulations that struck as odd. Now in India, we have a big pr...
